Welcome!
What’s Screvi for?
At its heart, Screvi is about one thing: making sure the useful stuff you read or watch doesn’t vanish from memory.
-
Highlight your books (paper or digital).
-
Save quotes from articles, YouTube lectures, and newsletters.
-
Import your ebook highlights straight from Kindle or other readers.
-
Add your own notes and reflections alongside them.
Everything goes into a single library you can revisit, organize, and resurface later.

-
Import Kindle exports or EPUB highlights.
-
Screvi parses your clippings file and drops them neatly into your library.

Screvi is built for people who love to learn but feel that knowledge management shouldn’t feel like a part-time job.

FAQ
Does the Chrome extension work on all sites?
Yes, on most sites where you can select text. Some pages with strict content protection may limit selection. Right‑click “Save to Screvi” is the fastest path.
How do YouTube highlights work?
Save a video link. If a transcript is available, you can highlight from it and Screvi will attach timestamps. If not, you can still save the link and add notes manually.
Can I read articles offline?
Yes. Once saved to Screvi, articles are available in a clean, distraction‑free view—even without an internet connection.
What happens if the original page or video is deleted?
Your highlights and notes stay safely in your Screvi library.
Can I export my highlights?
Yes. Export to PDF, DOCX, Markdown, or HTML. See Export Formats in our help center.
How do I import Kindle highlights?
Use the Chrome extension or the mobile app for Kindle cloud highlights, or upload MyClippings.txt for full control. See the Kindle import guide.
Can I highlight from paywalled articles?
If you can open and select the text in your browser (you have access), you can save it to Screvi.
