The maximum file size is 50 MB. Duplicate PDFs are detected automatically.

Which annotation types are supported for extraction?

Is the PDF uploaded to a server?

When you use the article reader, the PDF is uploaded so you can read it on any device. When you use the annotation extraction tool (Integrations > PDF Import), the PDF is parsed entirely in your browser and never uploaded.

Can I save PDFs from the browser extension?

Yes. Click the Screvi extension icon while viewing any PDF in your browser, and it will be saved to your Screvi library.
