Questions

What URL do I paste?

Just paste your Goodreads profile URL (goodreads.com/user/show/YOUR_ID). You can also paste the RSS feed URL or just your numeric Goodreads user ID.

Does this tool store my data?

Your bookshelf is fetched through a lightweight proxy (Goodreads does not allow direct browser access), but no data is stored. Parsing and display happen entirely in your browser.

Why do some books have no cover image?

Goodreads sometimes returns a placeholder URL or no image for certain editions. The viewer shows a generated cover for these.

Can I see all my shelves?

The RSS feed includes the shelf each book is on. You can filter by shelf using the controls. To load a specific shelf, add ?shelf=SHELF_NAME to your Goodreads RSS URL.

Why does the feed only show some of my books?

Goodreads RSS feeds are paginated and typically return up to 100 items. If you have more books, you may not see all of them in a single feed.

Is this tool free?

Yes. This Goodreads bookshelf viewer is a free companion tool offered by Screvi and does not require an account.

How is this different from Screvi?

This page is a standalone RSS viewer. Screvi is the full highlights platform for organizing, reviewing, and rediscovering highlights across Kindle, Apple Books, and other reading sources.
