8 hI will both lie down in peace, and sleep; iFor You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.

10For n“He who would love life And see good days, oLet him 3refrain his tongue from evil, And his lips from speaking deceit. 11Let him pturn away from evil and do good; qLet him seek peace and pursue it. 12For the eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, rAnd His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the LORD is against those who do evil.

slove your enemies, tdo good, and ulend, 8hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and vyou will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil.

hthose who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, ithe things of the Spirit. 6For jto be 2carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Because He has heard the voice of my supplications! 7The LORD is hmy strength and my shield; My heart itrusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him. 8The LORD is 2their strength, And He is the jsaving refuge of His 3anointed. 9Save Your people, And bless kYour inheritance; Shepherd them also, lAnd bear them up forever.

Fear not, ofor I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

1To everything there is a season, A atime for every purpose under heaven:

Whoever believes will not act hastily. 17Also I will make justice the measuring line, And righteousness the plummet; The hail will sweep away the refuge of lies, And the waters will overflow the hiding place. 18Your covenant with death will be annulled, And your agreement with Sheol will not stand; When the overflowing scourge passes through, Then you will be trampled down by it. 19As often as it goes out it will take you; For morning by morning it will pass over, And by day and by night; It will be a terror just to understand the report.

this you greatly rejoice, though now ofor a little while, if need be, pyou have been 3grieved by various trials, 7that qthe genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though rit is tested by fire, smay be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, 8twhom having not 4seen you love. uThough now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, 9receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of your souls.

I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor eprincipalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

31“Behold, the wdays are coming, says the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah— 32“not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that xI took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, 8though I was a husband to them, says the LORD. 33y“But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: zI will put My law in their minds, and write it on their 9hearts; aand I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
