On this page
The Reader
Open any article from Articles and you get the text, the images, and nothing else. No ads, no popups, no comment section.
Highlighting
Select a passage. That's it: the selection is saved as a highlight the moment you let go. Highlights made in articles join your main library, so they appear in your feed, in search, and in daily review.
Click an existing highlight to add a note, tag it, or remove it.
Reader Tools
The toolbar gives you:
- Table of contents for long pieces, built from the article's headings
- AI Summary to get the gist before you commit, or to recap afterwards
- Highlights panel listing everything you marked in this article
- Notes for thoughts about the article as a whole
- Share article to publish a public link (details)
- Send to Kindle to read it on e-ink (details)
Typography
Open the typography drawer to make the reader yours:
- Presets: Paperback, Editorial, Modern, or Focus for a one-tap look
- Font: Figtree, Lora, Literata, Spectral, Atkinson Hyperlegible, or your system font
- Size from 14 to 28 px, plus line height, line width, and justification
- Theme: light, dark, sepia, or paper
- Reading progress bar, publisher styles, and fullscreen
Settings apply to every article and to the EPUB reader.
