The Daily Review

Your review is always waiting in the app. Open Review any time and click Start Daily Review. Screvi deals you a handful of highlights chosen by spaced repetition, so passages come back right as you are about to forget them. No notification or email required.

Streaks

Every day you complete a review, your streak grows by one. It stays alive as long as you review at least as often as your frequency (below). Reviewing twice in a day counts once.

Go longer than your frequency without reviewing and the streak resets. Your next review starts a new one.

Frequency

Your frequency is your review schedule. Set it under Review > Preferences:

• Every day
• Every 3 days
• Once a week

It does two things: it sets how often reminders are sent when you have them on, and it sets the streak window, so on a weekly schedule you have the whole week to keep your streak.

Change it any time. A live streak is never erased by a schedule change. Moving to a looser schedule gives you more room. Moving to a tighter one applies from that day on.

Reminders

Reminders are optional. Under Review > Preferences, turn on Daily review reminders to get an email on your schedule with highlights to review, or choose Push notifications only to get a nudge on your phone instead. The email has a Mark as reviewed button that logs the review and keeps your streak without opening the app.

Your Streak Calendar

Review > Streaks shows your current streak and a calendar of every day you reviewed. Tap a day to see the exact highlights from that session, so you can revisit or share them. Your longest streak appears when you finish a session.

In the mobile app, the calendar is under Settings > Review > Reading Calendar.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need notifications on to review?

No. The review is always available in the app. Reminders only nudge you.

Will my streak break if I miss a day?

Only if you go longer than your frequency without reviewing. On a daily schedule, a missed day resets it. On a weekly schedule, you have the whole week.

What happens to my streak if I change my frequency?

Nothing bad. An active streak is kept. A looser schedule gives you more room before it breaks; a tighter one applies from that point on.

Can I see what I reviewed on a past day?

Yes. Tap any reviewed day on the streak calendar.

Does reviewing from the email count?

Yes. Click Mark as reviewed in the digest and the day is logged.
