How to Save a Post

  1. Copy the link to the post.
  2. Open Articles in Screvi and paste the link into Add article.
  3. Screvi detects the platform and saves the post in the right shape: a short post becomes a highlight, a long thread or article becomes a readable article.

On your phone, tap Share on the post and pick Screvi. In the browser, click the Screvi extension icon while viewing the post.

What Happens per Platform

Platform Single posts Threads and long-form
X (Twitter) Highlight Thread or X article saved as an article
Bluesky Highlight Thread saved as an article
Threads (Meta) Highlight Highlight
Instagram Highlight (posts and reels) Highlight
Facebook Highlight (posts and reels) Highlight
LinkedIn Highlight /pulse/ and /article/ links saved as articles
Reddit Post saved as an article Article

Highlights are grouped under a source named after the author, so all posts from the same account sit together in Sources. Articles land in your Articles inbox, where you can read them and highlight passages.

Import All Your X Bookmarks

For your existing X bookmarks, use the browser extension. It imports the whole list at once, and you can re-run it whenever you add bookmarks. See the X Bookmarks guide.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be logged in to the platform?

No. Paste a public link and Screvi fetches the post. Private or login-only posts cannot be fetched.

The post saved without its image.

Some platforms block image downloads. The text, author, and link back to the original are always saved.

Can I save a post from a platform not listed here?

Try it. Anything with a public URL can be saved as an article, and you can highlight the text you care about in the reader.
