Share a Highlight as an Image

1. Open the highlight's menu and choose Share.
2. Screvi renders a quote card with the passage, the source title and author, and a small Screvi mark.
3. Download the image or share it straight to another app.

The cards look good on Instagram, X, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and in Slack.

Share an Article with a Link

1. Open the article in the reader and choose Share article.
2. Turn on Public sharing and copy the link.

Anyone with the link can read the article in Screvi's clean reader without an account, and they see your highlights and notes on it. For PDFs, they can also download the file.

Turn Public sharing off to revoke the link. Each article has its own link, so revoking one does not affect the others.

Share Your Stats

On the Stats page, click Share Stats. Pick a light or dark card, then Download Image or share it. The card shows your totals: sources, highlights, favorites, and notes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can people see my other highlights from a shared article?

No. A shared link exposes that one article and the highlights and notes on it. Your library stays private.

Can I share a whole book or source?

Not yet. Share individual highlights as images, or export the source as Markdown from Integrations > Export Highlights and send the file.

Do shared links expire?

They work until you turn sharing off for that article.
